Hi I am Charmaine Lochner. I am a born and bred Capetonian. Previously I was in the Pension Fund Industry at Old Mutual before joining the Vega Team, after moving to Gauteng last year. I love people and photography, which makes me thoroughly enjoy my job. It is very rewarding to enroll people and see them grow their photography skills. Diversity in life is important to me and so I enjoy travelling regular to see new things and places.
Cindy Van Geems
Cindy is our Frontline Navigator. She is 22 years old and has lived in Pretoria her whole life. As a qualified Somatologist she wanted a new challenge in her life and joined our team. She is a passionate person with many personal objectives that still need to be conquered. A bit of a perfectionist, these objectives are certain to be achieved.
Karel Smit
Karel Smit is the Campus Navigator and has a love for people development. His travels from the South African Air Force to the world of banking and insurance into the world of photography is an odd meander, but portrays what many people experience in life. Ultimately one must pursue the passion; what you are good at. Having been involved with Vega from the beginning of the integration of the National College of Photography in 2008 has provided both challenge and joy. No greater joy ensues than when the magical world of learning finds fertile ground in hungry minds.
